We are a competitive polo club, with most of our members playing at the high school level and above. The club is about 75% male, with typical ages ranging from early 20s to late 30s. Playing experience is required as we do not have a dedicated coach on deck for practices. HOPS practices are Monday and Wednesday 7-9pm and Sunday 1-3pm. With all new members, there is a brief trial period to assess t
hat HOPS is a good fit for you. New members are welcome to join Sunday night practices until approved for Monday/Wednesday. If you are invited to join the team after this period, we will set you up with UThealth Center access and an app that allows you to receive team announcements and practice updates automatically. Sunday night practices the pool is at Swim Houston Aquatics Center (SHAC) located at 8454 W Airport Blvd, Houston, TX 77071. All new players must sign the SHAC liability waiver before entering the pool deck. Monday and Wednesday night practices are located at the UThealth center located at 1832 West Rd, Houston, TX 77054.
