Morning Bar None Fam,
Happy June!
We want to take a minute to introduce you to Alana.
This little mighty mite comes at you like a freight train—all go, no stop. When you think she has nothing left in the tank, she finds another gear and pushes even harder.
A few weeks ago, she wasn't feeling well on Friday, so her dad canceled her Saturday training session. When Saturday morning rolled around, Alana woke up, declared herself healthy, got after her dad for canceling, and made sure she still made it to training.
What really stands out about Alana isn't just her work ethic—it's her desire to learn. She's constantly asking questions about drills and how they will help strengthen her game. She already plays solid defense, but she wanted to become even better. Because of that, we've been working her at multiple positions instead of limiting her to just one. We've also focused on making her offense more productive by making adjustments to her swing to get stronger contact. And she's never afraid to speak up when something doesn't feel right. One thing we always tell our players is this: take what you're taught and make it fit your game. Coaching isn't about "my way or the highway." It's about collaboration. If you're not listening to your players, you're not coaching the right way.
To top it all off, Alana recently tried out for a select tournament team—and made it!
We look forward to continuing to work with her and seeing where her game takes her.
Alana, we see the hard work you put in every time you step onto the field. Always grinding. Always learning. Always wanting more.
We see bright things ahead for you, and we're proud to have you as part of the Bar None family.
For your hard work, dedication, and determination, we proudly name you the Bar None Player of the Month for May 2026.
Keep hustling!
