Challenge winner announcement!🥳 (part 2!)
is your male challenge winner and, like Meghan, this is his second win in a row!! Incredible dedication equals incredible results! Here’s what Toby has to say:
1. What keeps you motivated for the 45-day challenge?
- I’m pretty hard-headed and active by nature, so I try to align the challenge with a new nutrition strategy to keep things fresh and intentional. Healthy weekends are my struggle, so I try to remember what a former coach told me: everything we consume either fuels us or feeds disease.
2. Did you have any specific goals going into it?
- My focus was to challenge myself to eat cleaner overall. Knowing it’s easy for me to stay locked in Monday through Thursday, I made sure to kick my butt in the gym or on a run on the weekends if I splurged.
3. How has this challenge impacted your fitness journey?
- This challenge helped me reset my habits and approach food and fitness more intentionally.
4. Any tips or tricks for people wanting to join the next challenge and see success?
- Showing up is easy with the Houston Arts District crew behind you, including 🙄 It’s the other 23 hours away from the studio that’s challenging. Pick one nutrition habit to focus on, like cutting out sugar and alcohol, trying intermittent fasting, or even a detox, and commit to it fully. Take a break from the gym on a Thursday or Friday, but try not to skip the weekends—how you bounce back from a splurge or deviation makes all the difference.
