I’m not one to put myself online showing my physique. I’ve always been the humble one. But there came a point earlier this year, I looked in the mirror and didn’t like what I saw. The quarantine caused a quaran-10! 😩 I had no one else to blame but myself.
So one day I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and take action. I’ve never in my life had to make a plan to lose weight and lean out. I knew it was going to take sacrifice and effort. I knew there would be days when I wouldn’t feel like working out, waking up early to do fasted cardio, or eating very specific foods. I had to remind myself that anything worth while requires effort, sacrifice, and a solid action plan. Now GO!
Fast forward two months and it was time to see how much my hard work had paid off. I stepped on the scale to a number I hadn’t seen since my college years. I dropped 24 lbs going from 217 lbs to 193 in exactly two months time. I was shocked! And very happy. I wasn’t shooting for a number. More of a look.
After going through this transformation, I quickly found a new respect for what many people do everyday to reach their fitness goals. As difficult as it was, it was completely worth it! I slept better, increased my focus with everything I did, and built my confidence back to pre-pandemic times. Like the saying goes, nothing tastes as good as fit feels!
