Played a night round at EAST RIVER 9 after we got rained out BlackHorse Golf Club . Course has 9 holes with 2 sets of tee boxes giving you 18 different tee positions all to the same pin location. It’s a fun walking course with a chill, laid back atmosphere. It does get crowded so get a tee time online and have fun! Go at night, it’s a whole vibe!

Had a blast on my 40th birthday weekend!

Got to play:
High Meadow Ranch - awesome and worth the drive!
Blackhorse North - only played 4 holes then we got rained out 😔
East River 9 - great par 3 with awesome downtown Houston views (play it at night!)
The Links at West Fork - fun track with very nice greens!

Is there anything better than listening to pure irons and booming drivers!?

It was fun walking the final round of the Texas Children’s Houston Open at Memorial Park GC

Watching the pros play the sport you love is a sight to behold. Pure ball m stricking, draining 10+ft putts with ease and having the finesse around glass greens shows you just how good they truly are!

Rep’d the Golf Codeword hat. Got plenty of comments and felt comfortable all day!

I may never make it to Bandon, Pine Valley or Sand Valley but I sure as hell can drive 3hrs to get a taste of those great courses!

The team of Michael and Chris Keiser with the help of Tom Doak (yes, that Doak! has an absolute gem in the making with Wild Spring Dunes slated to open around September 2026.

We got to play a preview round of 8 holes (x2) and the videos do not do this course justice! I can’t wait to get out and get the full 18 experience!
