To Our Motocross Families and Community,
The Erdeljac family is proud to announce that the legendary Rio Bravo Motocross Park will soon begin a new chapter under the ownership of the Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC).
We know how much Rio means to so many riders, families, and friends so this decision was not made lightly. As we considered the future of Rio Bravo, our goal was to find an organization that shares our passion for off-road recreation and would be committed to preserving and enhancing what makes this place so special.
TMTC brings more than 25 years of experience in off-road motorized recreation, along with access to additional resources and grant opportunities that will help support the park's continued growth and success. We are confident they will be excellent stewards of Rio's future and are excited to see what lies ahead.
While the park will officially operate under the name Rio Bravo Recreational Area, we know that to our community, it will always be Rio.
Since the passing of Danny Erdeljac, our family has faced the difficult task of navigating the future of the park he loved so much. We have done our best to keep Rio moving forward while carefully considering what would best honor his vision and legacy. We truly believe this transition helps ensure that Danny's impact on the motocross community will continue for generations to come.
We ask that you join us in welcoming TMTC to the Rio family as we embark on this exciting new chapter together. We are grateful for your continued support, patience, and enthusiasm as this transition unfolds.
