Just got home from the Nurbergring. Had a great time with Brian and the the group. This was my 4 year going and was able to finally get my head around the track. Was great to see my old friends Joerg Bergmeister, Tim Bergmeister, And Jakob Bergmeister. I was lucky enough to have a GT4RS for the time there and it’s a really fun car.
Big thanks to Monkey With a Knife Racing for the trip!!!! Looking forward to our next race in the old Brave Car in October.

Ten years ago we started that Championship Season in World Challenge. In one week I head to the 2024 King of the Hammer with my teammate and team Monkey With a Knife Racing. This will be our 4th year racing at King of The Hammers. Last year we hit our first finish in 4400. This year we are going for a better result than just finishing. Most of the team is there now and Brian has been prerunning already.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Greg Fordahl. I had great respect for him. I wished I could have had him as an engineer. RIP Greg, I’m sure your making s**t faster in heaven.

…. Max had a great run in A2 main. Lead for about 5 of the eight minutes till we all got by him. I felt he needed to be in the podium picture with us. Philo Hatch and Brandon Revia are among the fastest guys around locally. Over the 5 months Max and I have been racing RC cars together I’m very impressed with how much speed he has so early. We are starting to work on his race craft. I’m just starting to get real pace back from my 25 plus years away from it. It’s been a great summer racing together and we have the HARC round 2 coming up just before school starts. That will be the real measure of the work we have put in together. To those who know us…. He has really started to show pace on Karts now as well. So let’s see what sq**rt does……

M2 schooling M3 today…. Soon he will learn some race craft.
