Hey, guess what?

You’ve got 3 opportunities this month to bring that ass to class and get a killer workout and partake in cold brew post class (or during- judgment free zone 🫶🏼)

… all on Wednesday @ 7pm !

$15 gets you access to class as well as a brew token. Just bring a dumbbell and a set of dumbbells you can push/press for 10-15 reps and I’ll handle the rest.

It’s not HIIT. ✅
We get to commiserate together. ✅
I provide beginner versions but make sure to push you. ✅

There is power in community. I believe that with every fiber of my being so if you need some guindance this month, come see me next Wednesday @ UTR @ 7p.

This workout 100% oblierated my upper body. Not that it always has to be this way, but I most certainly pushed my body on a day where I didn’t *think* I could. posted about understanding the difference between a day where you are tired and need to rest versus a day where you should pushing through. “But always pushing through is a red flag, and always resting is an equally serious though different problem.”

Yesterday, I NEEDED this.

🌱WOD🌱

A1- Eccentric/Negative Chin Ups (3-5s lowering count) x 2
B1- Bird Dog Rows- 10 reps x 3 sets (Great way to challenge your core & stability)
C1- Half Kneeling Shoulder Press- 10 reps x 3 sets (Core, shoulders & stability- but bracing is important. Hips parallel to the floor & hips scooped to CLOSE THE GAP between the ribcage and pelvis. Protect yo back)
D1- MB Slams- 2 x 40s

Core: Side Plank Rotations- 3 x 6-8 rotations (reps)

#1- Warm Up… this means jumping, banded work, planks, mobility.
#2- Squats To Press- x AMRAP
#3- High Planks w/Push Up (inch worms) x AMRAP
#4- DB Swings x AMRAP

My 15 year old fat boy (pictured on the last 2 slides) decided to hightail it off this planet this past Wednesday so we had to postpone.

That would be the first time he ever really moved that fast, I guess. (Humor is healing)

But on that note, let’s take his new found interest in movement as your chance to make it out to class this upcoming Wednesday… he would want you to support local and enjoy a workout and cold brew (with NA options available) in his memory. 🐈‍⬛

“Yes, you ARE this strong.”
“Only way to get through it, is to get through it” & then I proceed to count super super fast! 😂
