Schedule:
9am- Boxing Workout and Fundamentals
10am- Protein Snack
10:30: Yoga and Stretch
11-12: Strength Training
12-12:30: Pick Up

Richelle is your tiny but mighty boxing trainer at HTX FightCamp. While working in the intelligence field, she used boxing as a form of self defense. During her time in Washington, D.C., she trained under a coach as a boxer then moved to Houston and joined the FightCamp family as a client. Richelle decided to learn the coaching side and joined the staff in 2021. She continues her boxing education by training with different coaches and trainers around the country.

When Richelle isn’t in the gym, you can find her spoiling her 2 dogs, inhaling food (she welcomes food recommendations!), or gaming online 🎮

Alex is one of our personal trainers and boxing fitness coaches. He currently teaches our HTX FightCamp, Boxing BootCamp, Mash-Up, and HIIT-X classes.

He started his fitness journey at an early age playing several different team sports like soccer, track & field, and football.

He is a post-911 United States Marine veteran and served as an infantryman while stationed in Washington, DC. He later worked as a government contractor with the U.S. Department of State and served as Special Operations Unit and Emergency Response Team supervisor.

He became a personal trainer in 2006 and has worked at big box gyms, private training studios, home training, as well as virtual training. With over 15 years of experience as a fitness professional, Alex has worked with over 300 different clients all with different goals, limitations, and needs. He is also an experienced group exercise instructor teaching boxing, kickboxing, cardio kickboxing, boxing fitness, and military style boot camp classes. Alex had also been in management roles as a Personal Training and Group Exercise Director’s.

Denise is a full time student at the University of Houston (Go Coogs! 🐾) and one of the personal trainers at HTX FightCamp. She is a proactive student working towards her degree as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a minor in Spanish. She advocates good health and maintaining a well balanced diet. Denise’s passion for fitness started a few years ago in her own home gym. Her experience with health and wellness over the past couple years has inspired her to get certified in the field. She intends to gain knowledge, achieve personal fitness goals and help others accomplish their goals. Denise is very family oriented, when she is not training you can find her at home playing with Simba, her one year old chocolate lab or in the floral department at HEB.

Sal is the General Manager and one of the personal trainers at HTX FightCamp. His fitness journey began during the pandemic as a way to stay active and diminish the anxieties of living with a chronic disease during COVID times. Having experienced firsthand the life-changing power of leading an active lifestyle, he has become passionate about helping others find their own balance in their physical and mental well-beings through fitness. For Sal, movement is medicine for body, mind, and soul. Aside from fitness, Sal is also an accomplished Egyptian dance and folklore artist, having participated in various national and international dance festivals as an invited instructor and performer.

Certifications: RYT-200 Yoga Alliance, ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, and
Box n Burn Academy Level I.
