🌿 Happy 1st Day of September, Houston! What are you plans for Labor Day weekend?

Staying in Houston?

Good. We have a better idea. 😉

You could spend the weekend doing… well, whatever people do when they don’t have plans.

Or you could make a little Houston adventure out of it. 🚲🎶🥾

This weekend, we’re pedaling along the Sims Bayou Trail to Hope Farms’ Mini Farmers Market, gathering on the lawn at Miller Outdoor Theatre for live music under the stars, and heading into the woods at Jack Brooks Park for a Sunday morning hike.

Two days. Three different ways to get outside. And plenty of good people to spend them with. 🫶

No road-trip traffic. No airport chaos. No elaborate planning required.

Just show up, get outside, and make your Labor Day weekend count. 🌿

☀️ Happy Monday, Houston!

There’s something about the last day of a month that makes you pause for a second.

August is almost gone. Somehow we’re already standing at the edge of September, with another month of weekends, sunsets, plans, and possibilities waiting for us.

Maybe September will be the month you finally try kayaking. 🌊
Maybe you’ll say yes to that hike. 🥾
Maybe you’ll meet someone who becomes a really good friend. 🤸
Maybe you’ll simply spend a little less time indoors. 🌿

You never really know what a new month is going to bring.

But you do have a say in how you spend it. ❤️

Here’s to September. May we fill it with good people, fresh air, and a few stories worth telling.

🌿 Happy Friday, Houston!

🥾 Don’t spend another weekend saying, “I should get out more.”

Because somewhere between “we should totally do that sometime” and Monday morning, the weekend disappears. Again. 😅

Maybe this is the weekend to change that.
