This is why you’ve not seen me for the past year after breaking my ankle in 3 places and needing surgery. It’s been a long road to recovery with months of PT and rehab to get back to walking again. A shout out to for helping with my rehab. It’s taken the best part of a year to be able to do the things I love again such as hiking and skiing. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to run again unfortunately with all this hardware in my ankle. The surgeon told me I’ll most likely get arthritis in that joint and that I should switch to biking instead and to avoid high impact sports. I haven’t played tennis or football since my injury however I was able to ski again which I was so happy about. I’m not letting this injury stop me from staying in shape and keeping active. I’ve still been able to train clients in person and remotely which has allowed me to work with more clients from all over the world. I’m now working with cardiac and injury rehab clients from my experience working in phase 2 and 3 cardiac rehab at two different hospitals. I also feel that I can help more clients who have experienced a serious injury get back to doing the activities they love again after my rehab journey. Message me if you want to work with me in person or remotely.
