Texas Combat Systems Armed or unarmed, effective defense. At the request of our students, we have incorporated a more comprehensive training curriculum.

Texas Combat Systems is owned and instructed by a veteran Law Enforcement Officer and offers a new, innovative system designed from the ground up for people who desire to actively defend themselves. As such you will see some changes in the page and material that is covered. Rest assured we have not abandoned our hand to hand combat training, merely added more defensive firearms and edged weapons training.

This is cut and dry. I understand it's not pleasant, but this information and and these protocols are derived from the data involving active shooters. The attempt to neutralize the threat doesn't stop until the wounded have been treated.

Everyone across this country has feelings about the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas.
Anger
Sadness
Disbelief
I feel all of that and more. Uvalde isn’t just a map dot. Uvalde is a special place for me. Years of childhood memories I have from “going into town” off of remote ranch roads to buy gas or eggs. Being excited when they got a Whataburger. Being super excited about the Oasis opening. Buying parts at Uvalco. Dinner at Jack’s. Nights at the Amber Sky before dove season.
I was in Uvalde 2 weeks ago. Getting corn at Oasis, Tacos at Vazquez, batteries and a new spatula at Walmart. It’s a small town, and everyone knows everyone else.
As a Texas police officer, I’m sworn to protect all 30 million citizens, but Uvalde is just a little bit different.
