2-Gun is this coming Saturday (the 12th). Start time is 10:00 am. Round count is 50 rounds for the r***e and 30 rounds for the handgun. No green tip (or anything that has a penetrator) ammo is allowed. The entry fee is $25.00 and you can shoot the course as many times as you want. The match is rimfire friendly. We are also youth friendly, there is no age restriction. You can also shoot just the r***e or just the handgun stages twice for the cost of shooting the 2-gun course.

My third and fourth times through the r***e and handgun stages in last Saturday's (the 8th) 2-Gun match. I was using my .22 AR and .22 handgun.

My first two times through the r***e and handgun stages in last Saturday's (the 8th) 2-Gun match. This was with my 5.56mm AR15 and 9mm handgun.

The weather for our August match was hot and humid, but not nearly as much of either as August sometimes is. The wind didn't blow very hard, but had lots of switches, and let offs at times. Combined with the bright sun and humidity, it also made for lots of mirage, mostly boiling and swirling, and at times made it almost impossible to see rings on the target. The wind did come and go some, and some relays were worse than others.

Despite the tricky wind and bad mirage, it took a 400 to place in Open, and mid 390's in TR and Varmit. X counts were reasonably high as well.

Once again we had a good turnout, including 2 Junior shooters, both of whom shot well in the coditions. It is always good to see Junior shooters, hopefully they will be backk next month!
