Great info! Parents, take a few minutes to read! 🛟

I investigate drownings. I understand the realities of what can happen, often so quickly and quietly. I read a lot about water safety and tips telling parents paying attention to their children and not being distracted, which is so important. We see so many news articles about drowning during this time of year, but a lot of the advice isn’t practical and just highlights the problems, so I decided to write my own list of tips to help.

Here is a list of 10 random things I do to keep my own kids safe in the water.

Thank you to everyone who came out and showed support at our 3rd Annual Water Safety Festival! 🛟💙

This year’s festival was our biggest and best one yet, and we’re so grateful to all of the amazing families, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and community partners who helped make it such a special day.

A huge shoutout to all of our incredible vendors and supporters for helping us spread the message that swim lessons and water safety truly save lives.

Because of your support, we were able to raise $3,500 for Stop Drowning Now, a nonprofit dedicated to getting water safety awareness in front of as many families as possible. That impact means so much to us and to the families these efforts help protect.

We loved seeing the community come together for a day full of education, fun, and family memories, and we’re already excited to make next year even bigger and better!
