The Amobi Okoye Foundation, Inc. NFL defensive linemen Amobi Okoye founded the Amobi Okoye Foundation, Inc. Domestic programs are currently based in the inner city of Houston and Katy Texas.

in 2007; its mission is to “Give Hope to Kids, Communities, Build unity among the Children of the World and Promoting Academics Through Athletics”. Programs of the Amobi Okoye Foundation can be categorized into two main groups that include: Domestic youth and community programs and International Outreach based in Africa.

•Kickoff 4 Kids is a series of youth centered activities that provide motiva

tion to youth to foster self-esteem, inspiration, and academic scholarship. These series include Mentoring Camps, Movies and Motivation, and Collegiate Scholarships.
•Kickoff 4 kids House: By using an innovative approach, Kickoff 4 Kids House is an online competition, support and reward program that will create a safe haven for children to grow in academics, athletics, school attendance and community service.
•Tackle Hunger: Provides temporary sustenance for needy families while encouraging an atmosphere of hope that will lead to personal sustainability. We also have offices in Huntsville, AL and Louisville, KY, the place of Amobi’s High School and collegiate career, respectively. To accomplish program objectives, ensure sustainable funding and garner sufficient community support, The Amobi Okoye Foundation has adopted a sound strategy that incorporates an aggressive public information campaign; a power-packed Board of Councilors comprised of thoughtful leaders and key influencers, and has conferred with the best of professionals to ensure the integrity of programs offered. Through a comprehensive programming model, sustainable funding and transparent reporting, The Amobi Okoye Foundation is making a difference in the lives of thousands around the globe.
