🚀 Houston, we have a team! 🏏🇺🇸
​Touring Texas with the Cricket Australia Masters Over 50s wasn’t just about the runs on the board and the wickets in the hand. It was about something just as big: connection, family, and building an unbreakable team bond.
​Our rest days were just as crucial as our match days for bringing the squad—and our amazing, supportive families—closer together. And man, did we make the most of our downtime in Houston!
​We kicked things off with an out-of-world experience exploring the Houston Space Center, taking in a bit of history before heading to watch the Houston Astros play some Major League Baseball a couple days later.
​The highlight? The Aussie invasion couldn't be missed—our massive crew of cricketers and supporters made it right up onto the stadium's Big Screen in their green & gold! 🎥✨
​Huge thanks to the families who travelled with us and made this team what it is. Memories made for a lifetime, both on and off the pitch.

🏏 TOUR WRAP-UP: Houston, Texas 🇺🇸✈️🇦🇺
​And that’s a wrap on an incredible tour! Last Monday, the Cricket Australia Masters Over 50s squad came together with our fantastic hosts, the USA Masters squads, for our official presentation evening to celebrate a brilliant week of cricket, camaraderie, and competition in Houston.
​It’s been a hard-fought series on the field, but the real winner has been the spirit of veterans' cricket. Old rivalries were renewed, new friendships were forged, and the passion for the game hasn't waned a bit.
​A massive thank you to:

​The Master Aussie over 50s are in the thick of it right now at the Prairie View Cricket Complex, taking on the USA for the ultimate silverware!
​🇺🇸 USA won the toss and elected to bat.
