Mixteco Ballet Folklorico, Houston, Texas Dance school dedicated to the art of Mexican folklorico, Spanish Flamenco and Latin dance. Performances, classes, costumes and Quinceañera presentations.

School of dance, Mixteco Ballet Folklorico is a non-profit organization dedicated to the research , preservation and education of Mexican customs, traditions and culture through the art of music and dance. The goal of this dynamic group of dancers is to provide Houston area youth with cultural activities that are rewarding to them and increase artistic awareness within the community as well. We ar

e available for all types of performances, public or private. Lessons are available in Mexican folkloric dance, Latin social dances, salsa, bachata, & Spanish flamenco for ages 5 and up. We also choreograph for Quinceaneras and private events.

Festival Folklórico Algarabía Mexicana is proud to welcome three distinguished directors and choreographers who will share original repertoire and award-winning choreography from their respective dance companies.

As part of our commitment to supporting folklórico in the United States, Algarabía Mexicana proudly celebrates the talent, creativity, and leadership found within our own communities.

All festival participants will have the opportunity to participate in two Regional Repertoire Sessions and two Artistry Sessions throughout the weekend.
