The Chartiers Houston community is hurting today as we have learned of the loss of Jessie Orbin Jr. Jessie was just an absolutely amazing young man and I'm having trouble finding the words for all of this right now. Please pray for his family, friends, teammates and everyone that new him because he, without a doubt, had an everlasting impression on anybody that was in his life in any way.

It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of former Chartiers-Houston wrestler, Jessie Orbin Jr.

Jessie was proud to be a Buccaneer. He brought passion, determination, and pride to our wrestling room and represented our program with heart. He carried that passion with him to Waynesburg University, where he was a PAC Champion and most recently celebrated his 100 collegiate wins. While his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the impact he made on his teammates, coaches, the program and his friends will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jessie’s family, loved ones, teammates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing.

Once a Buccaneer, always a Buccaneer.

Rest easy, Jessie. You will always be remembered and forever be a part of the Chartiers-Houston Wrestling family.

Practice schedule for the week of June 15th::

Monday: Folkstyle practice 6 to 730 (ages 7 and up)

Tuesday: Practice 6 to 7:30 (ages 7 and up)

Wednesday: LIVE NIGHT!!! 6 to 7:30 (ages 7 and up)

Thursday: No Practice

Friday: No Practice

Saturday: Men's fitness 9 to 10
Jiu jitsu 10 to 11/12

Awesome week of work everyone! Just a heads up. There will be regularly scheduled practice next week with Coach Grant. There, however, will not be small group strength and conditioning next week as I will be on vacation. We will pick strength and conditioning back up when I return the following Monday. Have a great weekend and upcoming week everyone!

Bryce, Declan, Landyn and Drake had their field day this afternoon and worked their butts off. Deken, Parker and Noah hit their workout inside and all did awesome! Followed the workouts up with a nice competitive live night. It was a good day at HOAL!
