Week 16 was absolutely amazing with a whole week of amazing families. Each of these kids put in the work and have grown so much. Send them a shout and a congratulations on how hard they worked. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

Though the weather looked eery this week it had very minimal effect to this week’s schedule. Thank you Katy Bubble for holding strong for our families. 💦

Pruitt School of Swim will be joining the San Antonio and New Braunfels community in swim lessons. There’s a few more spots available to help prepare the community with some safe swimmers.

San Antonio lessons are taking place in Hollywood Park and has 2 openings left. Snag your 10:00am and 1:00pm opening.

New Braunfels lessons take place in the Havenwood Subdivision at Hunters Crossing and has 2 openings left. Snag your 2:30pm and 4:30pm openings.

I can’t believe we are 15 weeks into this season and how many children have had the chance to grow, become safe, confident swimmers already. There’s still more weeks of swim to go to prepare kids not only for summer swim season, but for lifelong skills through any season. 💦

Check out this crew!!! Another fantastic group of swimmers that are ready for summer. Many are refreshed and many have brand new skills. Each one of them put in the hard work and grit to be successful and confident by day 5.

Is there a secret to the success? All I can say is Mrs. Laura met the kids where they are and understands how much they can be pushed based on the understanding of child development, psychology and behavior traits. It’s years of experience that is brought to the table to help get these kids to thrive in an uncertain environment.

If you’ve been on the fence about experiencing this program, that’s understandable. It’s not a concept that we as parents have been led to believe. Surely, there’s no way 5 days of lessons will teach my kid anything. They’re gonna need months and years to get them to being safe in the pool.

Right? Is that the belief system? Check out these kids and know each one of them were floating independently by the end of day 1. All but 2 were swimming using their arms and feet by day 2 and all of them were swimming using their arms and/or feet by day 5.

If you’re ready to give it a go, August lessons are currently booking. You won’t regret your investment. Your kiddo will learn so much. 💦

Though rain has had an impact on a few of our families, all kids have excelled and have had a great week of lessons. Growing leaps and bounds from day 1 and for my returning families, from last season. Congratulations to each one of these kiddos on all they’ve accomplished this week. This summer is going to be a blast full of safe fun!!! 👏👏👏

If you’re interested in getting your kiddo to have the same success, it has to start at some point. Currently, I only have waitlisted spots between now and July. My next official openings are in August. Though August can seem far off, in the grand scheme of things it’s not. Swim season in Houston can go on for quite awhile. I know for my family we are only out of the pool in January and February. All other months we’re swimming, at the beach or kayaking. Water sports and recreation isn’t limited to a season. And for our curious little kids, they don’t know seasons and are curious lil’ ones around water. August can be a great way to get the safety in now and next summer refresh their skills and have a blast. Don’t hesitate to sign up. You won’t regret it. 💦

The coolest thing about doing what I do, is that my classroom can be in other communities. I love that I’m able to bring what I do to Midland and that I have the privilege to work with such remarkable families. This week we had a great week in Midland teaching all of these sweet faces how to be safe in and around water. Many of these faces are returning swimmers learning their next set of skills, getting stronger and more confident. Some of these faces are new and have gained those necessary skills to survive. Each one of them grew leaps and bounds from their day 1 and I can’t wait to see how much they’ve grown when we get together again next season.

Thank you Midland for welcoming me with open arms and entrusting your sweet little ones with me. Thank you for your patience in our very rare rain storm and being so flexible in making it possible for all families to get their full week of lessons in with our weather delays. Y’all are so gracious to not only myself, but the other families. 💦

This past week in Katy was absolutely wonderful!! These kiddos did an outstanding job working hard at the beginning of the week to get to where they were at the end of the week. Thank you to all of the families for trusting the processing and seeing them blossom throughout the week. Congratulations to each one of these kids and the confidence they built this week and will continue to grow with throughout the summer. 💦

The past two weeks have been super busy at the Pruitt residence as we just finished celebrating our daughter’s graduation. As I sit here reflecting, I’m realizing I missed celebrating my swimmers from the past two weeks.

This week of swimmers was a light week for Mrs. Laura. Elementary clap outs and graduation night kept my time limited this week. But that’s okay, it was full of outstanding results. Check out these kids. They hopped in with Mrs. Laura and took on the challenge and did the ‘hard work’. Though it wasn’t easy, they shined at the end of the week, loving swimming and playing. 💦

Congratulations to each one of them and all the hard work they put into their week of lessons. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
