I'm proud of you Isaac for a good Debut fight, mistakes were made but we learn and move on the next one 💪🏽
We went into this fight the underdog in a Debut fight against a competitor with a few fights to his credit already. Knowing that his opponent likely anticipated to dominate Isaac for his inexperience, we trained for different variables going into this fight...
Just as fighters aim to better themselves fight by figh, as a coach I aim to do the same. This fight was different for me as a coach going into what I deemed an uphill fight, I not only studied footage on Isaac's opponent but other fighters also from his gym, past and present, spending my late nights learning not from the fighters themselves but the round by round habits/adjustments either made or not made, from fights they were winning and fights they were losing.
I feel these tidbits of knowledge helped me instruct Isaac into making the necessary adjustments round by round and he executed them to pull out the SD win.
As a coach I will never guarantee wins, there will be losses along the way, but I will guarantee the knowledge and the tools necessary to be successful 👏
