What a loooong, hot summer day! ☀️⛳

Our members truly braved the heat, and it was worth every minute! We volunteered with Journey Through 18, played 9 holes of golf, welcomed new members, awarded scholarships, and enjoyed great fellowship along the way.

Today, we were especially proud to recognize our scholarship recipient, a graduate of Aldine ISD. She excelled as a scholar-athlete, competing in both golf and swimming, and has earned a full scholarship to study Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan.🎓⛳️🏌🏽‍♀️🏊🏽‍♀️

Congratulations to our junior golfer! We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and know she will continue to excel in this exciting new chapter. Wishing you continued success both in the classroom and beyond.

This is why we do what we do. It’s about creating opportunities, investing in the next generation, and making a lasting impact—one swing, one scholarship, and one young woman at a time.

Experiences Matter! The 65 members of Women on Par were inducted into the African American Golfers Hall of Fame, Class 2026. Thanks to the Founder Malachi and Essie Knowles for their outstanding work in recognizing individuals that made significant contributions in golf! What a class of heavy weights ito be recognized with! What an honored! We are humbled, grateful and inspired to continue to make an impact with the next generation of golfers! Within our first 5 years of existence one of our proudest endeavors, we have logged more than 3000 volunteered hours to junior and collegiate golfers. Thanks to Maulana Dotch, General Manager of Hermann Park GC for the nomination and LaJean Gould, Founder of Women in Golf for pinning us at the ceremony. ❤️💕💜

We are back at it again! Some of the Women on Par
members are headed to Albuquerque, NM with the LPGA Houston Chapter to compete in the Lone Star Cup! Safe travels to the team and bring back the cup to Houston, TX!

For the past four years, our members have proudly supported the Mack Champ Invitational—truly a member favorite. It’s an incredible experience to witness some of the best junior golfers from around the world compete at such a high level.

We don’t just volunteer, we learn. Watching these young athletes sharpens our own game, and they’re always generous enough to share a few tips with us too!

A heartfelt thank you to the Champ Foundation for creating a space where these talented young golfers especially brown kids, have the opportunity to compete and connect on a global stage.
