This is what it looks like when 100+ black runners get together to accomplish a common goal of finishing their race!! 🏁

ZFT is where fitness, faith, friendship, fellowship, fun and fortitude collide to make our family bigger and better!! 💪🏾

We are so thankful for all of the runners who ran with us this weekend!! Whether this was your 1st race or 50th race, whether you ran fast or slow, whether you achieved a PR or you’ve gotten a little slower……..EVERYONE finished and we are so proud y’all!! 🙌🏾

ZFT x EMMY = 🙌🏾

Back in February of this year and did a story on our chapter called “Running For Our Lives.” This amazing story showed the impact ZFT has had in regards to health and wellness in the DFW community. This story also highlighted the disparities of the COVID-19 virus in the African American community vs other communities.

As an organization, we were pleased to hear that this story won an EMMY yesterday for the category of “storytelling for sports diversity equity and inclusion.” 🏆

Thank you to the city of Dallas for rocking with ZFT! We also want to send a huge shoutout to and their leadership team for holding down the mission of our organization and making an impact the DFW area for runners/walkers of color!! ZFT is so appreciative to be a part this award-winning story. 🙏🏾

🗣️LET’S GOOOOOO!!

ZFT-Houston will be in action and taking over the streets of EADO/Third Ward with some cardio for all fitness levels tomorrow morning. It doesn’t matter if you’re a runner, a walker, or just a talker……ZFT accepts and welcomes everyone, no matter your speed, pace or experience! ✊🏾

Be sure to invite your friends, family, co-workers, kids, dogs, etc. and let’s hit the streets the ZFT way!!

Runners: 30min. Run
Walkers: 25min. Walk

*We will be hosting brunch at Leeland House immediately following the run*
