ABSP is starting to build something special. The 2025-26 Season was one of the best seasons in program history so far. Well disciplined athletes, great coaching, great culture, and most of all lots of consistency. The motto here at ABSP is belief and knowing that every person belongs. We are very proud of each and everyone for the work they put in to get to this point from the beginning all the way up to now. The 2026-27 season should be even better. 💯🔥

Congratulations to Ana Olachia on a spectacular performance at the Beach to Bay Relay. She is currently in the 25-week Half Marathon/Marathon and has been working hard for 16 weeks straight. Watch out for her in the fall as she continues to progress. Way to go Ana. 🎉

Congratulations to our newest addition Anthony Xayakham all the way from Dallas on setting a new half marathon PR at the this morning. He has worked extremely hard during his training cycle and is about to be on his 10th week of the 25-week half marathon/full marathon training program. His best half marathon time before joining was a 1:33 and now he’s already knocked a minute off that mark. More to come from this gentleman. Remember his name guys. 🎉💯

🚨3️⃣:0️⃣1️⃣:5️⃣4️⃣🚨

Congratulations to Romona Green on a solid half marathon performance at the Zydeco Marathon. You are now looking at a 5x Half Marathoner, new Personal Record setter, and a 2x 5K/Half Marathon doubler. After her PR and Houston 5K/Half Double performance at the 2026 Aramco Houston Half Marathon in January, she decided to rewrite the same history by cruising to a 36:00 5k on Saturday and coming back today on Sunday to shatter her previous half marathon best of 3:03:01 by running 3:01:54. This was a 1 minute 7 second improvement from January’s race at Aramco. To do this in just less than 2 months shows how big of an expectation she is setting for our ABSP program. 🎉🔥

History made‼️📚🚨

Congratulations to Adam Burum on a spectacular performance in the half marathon at The Woodlands marathon. Adam finished as the 14th fastest male and snagged a podium spot to finish 3rd place overall in the age 25-29 bracket with a 19 second PR of 1:18:24 eclipsing his previous record of 1:18:43 from 2024. This was the first time in ABSP history that we had someone on the podium for the 13.1 mile distance. For him to do it in such a competitive event sets a high standard for our program. Back to work next week. Until next time. Adam is now a 4x Half Marathoner and set his 4th consecutive PR at this distance. 🎉💯

Medal Monday 🏅

Congratulations to Romona Green on a good performance at the Rock n Roll Vegas 10K this past weekend for the series. Romona finished 175th place out of 437 participants for her age bracket. Awesome job. 🎉
