On Sunday Nov 2, our Taylor Tetley pulled off her first solo. She launched into calm skies and even hung out in weak lift while 2 other Merlin gliders landed before her. Well done Taylor!!!

Tuesday's cold temps and brisk NW winds brought one of the glider pilot's favorite phenomena...a cloud street. And 20 miles up the street the lift was booming! On the attached vid, note the cloud shadows marking the street as it runs downwind to the SE, Merlin and Petersburg. One nice ride!
