We would like to say a big thank you also to our Blue Lion Athletic Boosters who helped take care of our hotel stay in Galipolis last night so we didn’t have to come down super early this morning

Wish our Blue Lion wrestling team good luck as we head to Steubenville for the regional state duals and a chance to qualify to the state dual finals .

This group has worked extremely hard all season we will wrestle our first round match at 10:00 AM Saturday morning at Steubenville high school

BLUE LIONS WIN OWN WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

Saturday was a busy day of high school wrestling in Fayette County with 40 teams participating in two area wrestling tournaments.

The Washington CH Blue Lions in town hosted their Bracket Style Tournament & defeated 19 other schools that scored in the event.

Blue Lions scored an impressive 264.5 points & had 5 weight class championships won. They placed 14 wrestlers in the field.

Philo was runner up with 215.5 points & Ross finished 3rd with 188.5 points.
