Hey RC Monster Truck community. Many have been asking about the future of Showtime RC Motorsports and whether or not we will be holding Solid Showdown 2023. As you all know Showtime RC Motorsports is something Marlon and I built together to express our love for Monster Trucks and also RC racing. Since Marlon’s unexpected passing I have been searching inside for direction as to what I should do with what we’ve created. At this time I am heartbroken. To even see a monster truck or an RC has been bringing on feelings of nausea. I need more time to decide if this is something I would consider continuing without having my brother with me. Bonding and building with him was and will forever be the best part for me. I can say for sure that this years Solid Showdown that was planned for August is cancelled. As for the future of Showtime RC Motorsports racing series and events, I need more time to see how my heart beats. For me it’s not a question of can it be done but for me the answer lies in finding out has the fire inside me burned out. I know I have support from all of my friends and race family and I love each and everyone of you for the support you have given us through the years and also during Marlon’s sickness and passing. Thank You

Marlon was born on October 7th, 1973 and passed away on April 29th, 2023 at the age of 49

Major Announcement:

***All remaining Showtime R/C Motorsports Spring Points Series races are cancelled***

For those who are unaware Marlon has been in the hospital for the past two weeks after experiencing a medical emergency which resulted in an immediate need for surgery. The surgery has resulted in additional unforeseen complications for Marlon. Please pray for his speedy recovery.🙏🏾

Here’s the dates for series guys …… they will be indoors at Mt.Pisgah. With the overwhelming responses to running indoors leading up to Solid Axle Showdown so racers can be well prepared and tuned to the consistent surface we kept it indoors. Fall season we’ll be back to indoor/outdoor courses.

If anyone looking for a race event coming up soon this is a nice one where the monsters race heats on a off road type course. We’ve attended before and had a blast!

We're back! The 2023 Monster Cross event will be held on March 10-12, 2023! Monster Cross will have its largest track ever and we hope you can join us for a weekend of great racing at the wildest R/C monster truck event in the country!

Also, we'd like to welcome JConcepts Inc back as title sponsor for 2023! JConcepts is a leader in bodies, tires and accessories for the R/C monster truck segment and we couldn't be happier to have them back on board this year!
