I got paid the ultimate compliment that one could receive from one of my athletes today. She said, “Thank you for making me feel like I can conquer the world when I come here.”🥲 I said “what do you mean?” She said ‘ you make me feel like I’m able to do things larger than myself, larger than life.”(🥹) I smiled and simply said “Thank you for that.” I told her I appreciated those kind words because that’s exactly our goal. This is a prime example (no pun intended)of us as coaches when we think they are not listening in reality their ears are wide open! Call me whatever but as a parent, teacher, mentor, coach, trainer, entrepreneur and most importantly a man of God, my heart was truly fullfilled today. ❤️❤️
