Congratulations to our Team Captain, Cameron Wilson, on signing his commitment letter with Hastings College to continue his wrestling career at the next level!

Cameron becomes the 4th Terrebonne wrestler to achieve the goal of competing in college — a testament to his hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

We are incredibly proud of you, Cameron. This is well earned, and just the beginning!

Shoutout to the Terrebonne Wrestling Team on an amazing season!

The team finished 16-1 on the season, winning the District 7-5A title and also titled at:
• Rayne Duals Champions
• Duplessis Invitational Champions
• Tiger Clash Champions
• Rayne Invitational Champions

The team also took second at:
• Swamp Owl
• Battle of Orleans

They also finished 4th at the Public School State Championships and 14th at the LHSAA Division I State Championship.

The Tigers earned
• 17 First-Place Medalists
• 24 Second-Place Medalists
• 12 Third-Place Medalists
• 5 District Champions
• 6 District Runner-Ups
• 5 Podium Finishers – Public School State
• 5 LHSAA State Quarterfinalists

On Friday February 6, 2026 Terrebonne Wrestling competed in the 2026 LHSAA State Championship. The Tigers scored 78 team points finishing 14th in D1 out of 39 schools! Terrebonne entered 11 wrestlers, and had 1 State placer in Sophomore Chance Knoblock. Terrebonne did have 5 Quarterfinalist and 4 top ten wrestlers. This marks the end of the season for Terrebonne wrestling. We will post a season review once all of the stats are gathered.

Special Shout Out :
🌟 Jaxon Bent of Houma Christian School becomes the parish’s first State Champion at the D3 150 pound class, and the Outstanding Wrestler Award for all of D3!!!

Congratulations to our wrestlers who got seeded for the LHSAA State Championship this weekend. We are so proud of all of our wrestlers and their accomplishments this season. They are raising the standard for wrestling in our region!!
