Spring is here (almost) and we’re looking ahead to the 2026 season on Lake Superior!

With a strong snowpack this winter (344" and counting), conditions are lining up for a great early season bite starting mid to late April 🤞🎣 Summer is shaping up well too, with continued strong lake trout fishing during past seasons and good signs for a strong coho year class.

We’re excited to get back offshore to Stannard Rock Lighthouse and to be running two boats again this season.

Season's greetings to all our fishing friends! As we find ourselves in the throes of winter, it brings much warmth reflecting on another great season, during which many fun memories were made. Thank you to all of our exceptionally great clients, from this season and many past, for joining us in our adventures on the greatest of lakes, which we are lucky to call our "office".

It is with great anticipation that we are already looking ahead to the 2023 season! The "new boat" that many of you have been hearing about for at least a couple of seasons will be joining the Keweenaw Charters fleet at the beginning of next year. We were fortunate to have Captain Hunter join us in the 2022 season and hope that we might be able to increase our availability next season with the new boat.
