Check out this testimonial from one of our assistant coaches. 288 down to 152!!!
"When I first came to find the Wolfs Hammer I was in a bad spot in life, no job, no will, no life, and no strive. I walked through those doors for the first time weighing a staggering 288lbs. For perspective I'm only 5 foot 5 inch tall, for lack of better words I was massive and not in a good way. I will never forget my first couple weeks, they came with bruises, pains and a set of cracked ribs, well deserved. Over the coming months I found myself not only losing weight but, gaining friends, confidence, and a true admiration for the martial art of muay thai. Skip forward 1 year and I was down to 200lbs, I was feeling better mentally and physically, and I had asked to be set up for my first fight to try out the more competitive side of what I have been training. Roll around 4 months later and I had my first amateur fight weighing in at 170lbs, it was a truly humbling experience, I lost
the fight but in the end I proved to myself I had what it takes to keep pushing forward and test my limits. Skip forward to the present day, I'm now 152.3lbs, I feel amazing, my mental state has dramatically improved, and I look like I never have before, and none of this is (all) my success, I owe it to each and every person that has walked in the doors of the wolfs hammer, and I do mean everyone, the ones that came before me (my coaches, Dan and Adam), and those who only showed up for a few sessions and those who have stayed with us, each and every one of the people I have had the absolute pleasure to meet and learn from have sharpened, and shaped me into who I am today. I even learn alot from the kids striking classes as well, they push me to react quicker, and play the striking game in a more broader capacity. Helping to teach them as an assistant coach to Felix (Adam) has been an
amazingly fun experience and a very insightful experience. This has been a long and arduous journey, and one I will keep pursuing so long as I can, I know lots of people say it, but if you think you can't do it for whatever reason, I won't say I did and you can too, no I say come down and see us at the wolfs hammer, come get my story first hand, come experience and grow your capabilities, the hardest part is walking through the doors."
