Well that's another wrap!! End of Volleyball Season 2024 Awards! It was such a "Sweet Season"! Our Awards assembly was based off the sweetness we experienced! I want to begin by giving Thanks to my Great God above for the many Blessings within this group!! May we always give you the honor and glory!!Thank you to the wonderful parents who just jumped right in on a sweet extravaganza Awards assembly!! And the way they have taken care of every need for me and these girls! And Thank You to a Wonderful group of young women!! The 8th Gold finished 21-6-1 / Undefeated Conference Champions /8th Blue 9-8! The 9th grade finished 26-7 12-0 19th Consecutive Undefeated Conference and District Champions. Ladies I want to congratulate you all on such a successful season. I want to say Thank You all for allowing me the opportunity to lead and guide you in just a moment of time in your journey called life! Thank you for all the laughs and excitement throughout this season. I want to wish you all good luck in your next sports, your club seasons, and your future in the next level of Volleyball! You are truly all very special to me!! Way to always TCB!!

Sportsmanship...does it exist in today's day and age? Yes, it does. Today my Rams VB girls and parents went to say THANK YOU to a group of young ladies that stayed to root on, cheer on, and be the energy when we needed it most in the District Tournament last Monday!! These young ladies could have left and been on their way home but instead sat behind Lakeside to cheer them into victory!! We don't hear or see a lot of positive stuff in the world today - but this right here was positive all the way around!! Thank you Hot Springs JR Academy Trojans for showing exemplary positivity to your cross town Conference rivals and helping us achieve a victory!!

ICYMI: For NINETEEN YEARS, she’s been perfect. Probably at lots of things. But on, at least, one documented front. I cannot imagine that ANY coach at ANY school coaching ANY age of ANY sport has achieved what she has. If she coached football she’d have her own TV show. Coach Lawson just completed her 19th consecutive UNDEFEATED conference championship. And days later won her 19th consecutive conference tournament. It’s a Lakeside record I imagine will stand forever. Last season she won her 300th game and we all thought that was career. Nope. That was just 9th grade at Lakeside. Her 8th grade team would nearly double that.

Tonight was a great night to be a RAM!! Lakeside 8th GOLD takes the match win in 2 sets and the Freshmen ladies dominated the Wolves in 2 sets 25-12, 25-12. Taking the tie breaker over the season 2-1. Plus LS has won both times in 2 set matches and went 3 hard sets when LH won.

This group right here stuck it out going into the Silver Division of the Conway Invitational Tourn as a 3rd seed. Beat Vilonia in 2, Bryant in 3 , and LRCA in 2 to take the Silver Championship home!! Stepped up in bracket play. Long day, late night, but so so worth it!! Way to go ladies, this Coach is so so proud of you all!!
