2 weeks late but the 11u twins came back from a 5-2 deficit in the last inning to win 6-5 in the rbi tournament. Quality at bats and attacking the zone on the mound. Proud of these guys.

Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife. 3 years and you haven’t killed me yet. I am a difficult person to live with I know, but not only have you put up with my crap for all this time, you’ve stood right beside me through everything. Competed in my first individual CF comp today. It came down to the 4th workout of the day between me and another guy, and I finished 7 seconds ahead of him to secure 1st place. I’ll be 45 in a couple weeks and I’m still trying to teach my kids by example to make themselves 1% better everyday. Easy=mediocrity. If you’re not happy with your situation, focusing on bettering yourself. You can speak negative and put blame elsewhere, or you can speak positive and change yourself. Average people talk about problems, great people talk about solutions. Btw, my wife also won her division. Scroll left to see how badass she is. So proud of her!

I’ve coached for many years. As a coach, you can see a clear difference in a player that doesn’t want to mess up so they play it safe versus one that knows they will make some mistakes but gives it everything they’ve got anyway. That’s the kinda player that coaches want! To be elite you have to learn. And to learn, you must mess up from time to time. Players…it’s okay to make mistakes. It’s how you get better. Coaches/Parents…it’s not life or death when your kid isn’t perfect. Positive reinforcement! It’s a game. Make sure the player and the coach/parent doesn’t turn it into something else. Just some advice from experience 🙋🏼‍♂️.
