Hello Friends. We hope you'll consider taking a few hours off and join us Friday, July 17th for the first annual Hortonville Youth Golf outing!
HYG is a 501c3 organization that has been started to support junior golf in the Hortonville School District.
This will be a unique, fun evening at the course with many of the junior players helping out at the event!
We are still looking for golfers (20 team limit), sponsors and donations. Please send us a DM here to sign up or with question on sponsorship or donations. You can also contact Coach Trav using the info at the bottom of the flyer.

A fun, systematic clinic that helps youth learn, develop, and practice the skills to become better golfers — putting, full swing, chipping, etiquette, bunker play, sportsmanship and rules.

2 weekends in a row we had intentional damage to our greens. People of all ages make poor decisions on golf course but both instances were juniors this time. We are casual and some what lenient to the traditional protocols, to a fault in this case. It’s extremely frustrating for me as I advocate for the juniors as much as anyone. Currently there are no restrictions on junior play at Grand View and we have over 100 junior members annually. The kids in this video are not members but unfortunately if senselessness like this doesn’t stop it will affect even the good junior members at our course.
The greens at a golf course are the most precious / sacred area of any course. They are as important as the screen in a movie theatre. If there was a hole in the screen you probably wouldn’t enjoy the movie as much right?
To everyone of all ages, please be respectful of golf course property and all businesses, community spaces that you don’t own, inside and out. Pic of damage on green in comments. Thank you for your time and attention.
