Sadly Sam Huston passed on June 20th. The benefit shoot that is scheduled for July 19th will now be a memorial shoot.

Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for the Huston family so they can put the money towards medical expenses.

We are asking for as many community members as possible to join us on July 19th for the Sam Huston Memorial Shoot.

Also, if you have an item that you are willing to donate for the silent auction we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!!

****SAVE THE DATE: July 19, 2026****

We will be putting on a benefit trap shoot and silent auction for Sam Huston and Family. Sam has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. All proceeds from the shoot and silent auction will go directly to the Huston Family.

Location: 35 Lucky Lane, Horseshoe Bend

Cost: $10.00 per game per person, no limit on how many games you sign up for.

Gate will be open by 9:00am, trap shooting game will start at 10:00am but please feel free to come anytime during the day. We will be shooting until late afternoon. The silent auction will have some amazing items so if you don’t want to shoot please feel free to come and check out the items up for bid. The silent auction will close at the end of the day, the day of.

Mustang Cafe will be there on site to provide amazing food for purchase!

***CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS***

Special Buddy Shoot this Saturday and Sunday, 5/16 and 5/17

Must be there by 8:00am on 5/16 to register. Cost is $75.00 per shooter, MUST pay with cash!

A food truck will be onsite. They will have breakfast, lunch and dinner available for purchase.

PLEASE NOTE - if there are not enough shooters on Saturday we will have the regular schedule club trap shoot on Sunday starting at 10:00am. We will post updates as soon as we know.

Our next trap shoot will be Sunday 4/19. We will be doing a special presentation and would like as many of our members to attend if possible. We will do the presentation at 1:00.
