Rudy Davalos HSB Sports Club The HSB Sports Club got its start in 2009 when Rudy Davalos rounded up a few ex-athletes and coaches and suggested a sports club.

The club has attracted guest speakers from Texas and across the US. It was renamed in honor of Rudy in 2019.

Art Dlugach passed away at 82 years old on March 26, 2026. The Highland Lakes resident was an Emmy Award-winning sports producer with decades of experience across the country in broadcast journalism, but locally he was known as a diehard fan of Llano High School sports, having spent over 25 years reporting on Yellowjackets athletics.

A funeral service will be held at the Llano High School Auditorium, 2509 TX-16 in Llano on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2 p.m.

The Lady Longhorns have advanced to their second straight Women's Final Four where they will play UCLA Friday April 3rd in Phoenix!

All four teams are playing in the Final Four for the 2nd straight year and this year they are all the Number 1 seeds!

TCU was beaten soundly by South Carolina in their Elite 8 matchup Monday night.

The Rudy Davalos Horseshoe Bay Sports Club is more than just talking sports. This was a meeting of the scholarship committee. In 2026 the club is planning on offering 2 $500 scholarships to each area High School (Llano, Burnet & Marble Falls).
