Our XC Runners were able to attend an Athlete Recovery Workshop at Impact X Performance Horseheads. Coach Jeffrey Case II and Coach Biz led athletes through a Stretch Session and then into the Recovery Room where athletes were able to Cold Plunge, use Compression Boots, Infra Red Sauna, and used the Medical Grade Infra Red Light Panel. The athletes also learned about foam rolling, vibration plate and massage guns. We were so grateful for the opportunity that the kids had today and they really enjoyed the recovery options available to them after a summer of a lot of hard work and a lot miles! Thank you Impact X performance!

The Elmira City School District is offering sports physicals in August, although students may also receive their sports physical from their own physician, nurse practitioner, or other qualified healthcare provider.
