Tomorrow at 5:30, history will be made as our Lady Red Raiders Wrestling Team competes in their first ever home dual meet. This event is not only a celebration of the team's dedication and hard work but also evidence of our school's commitment to providing opportunities for its students. We invite you to join us and show your support for these talented young women as they make their mark on the wrestling mat.

Yesterday our team competed in the Arkport Tournament. We had a good day on the mats with several members securing a spot on the podium.

Congratulations to the following:

110- Champion, Joe Kilmer

103- 4th Xzavier Raycroft

126- 3rd Hunter Weitzel

132- 4th Anatole Colson

138- 5th Conner Meehan

175- 3rd Patrick Wing

215- 3rd Owen Hyer and 4th Bronx Cage

Although they didn't get a top 5 finish, we would like to acknowledge Remy Bowen-Kirham, Brennan Carroll, Ezekiel Fanton, Tyler Rankl, Jordan Tinker, Trenton Vogel, Uriah knickerbocker, Julian Apodaca, and Trevor Hawks. Many of these athletes are young and still new to the spore, but they demonstrated significant growth in their wrestling. We are proud of your growth.

Keep grinding, gentlemen!

Save the date for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 5:30 pm, as the Hornell Lady Red Raider Wrestlers will host their historic first home dual meet against the Dansville Girls' team. To honor this special occasion, we will offer a limited number of Lady Red Raider Wrestling t-shirts and State Farm Wrestling Tournament t-shirts, and conduct another 'Fill The Calendar' drawing, which requires attendance to participate. Additionally, it will be senior night, so please fill the stands to support these talented young ladies and enjoy an exciting evening of girls' wrestling.

We would like to wish our Boys' team and our new Girls' team the best of luck in their respective competitions today. The Boys' team will be competing in Wellsville at 9 am, while the Girls' team will be participating in a girls' tournament in Horseheads at 2 pm. If you have some free time, please consider attending to support these young athletes.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the K9 Benefit Fund. We are deeply honored to have received support for our program, and appreciate the fund's additional support for the Canisteo Girls' Team. This demonstrates a growing recognition and commitment among individuals and organizations to champion the advancement of girls' wrestling, thereby empowering young female athletes. Great things happening for both teams.
