🌀 Thank you so much to everyone who as already turned in their signed forms from tryouts. If you have not, please get them to Mrs. Stallins as soon as you can!

📣 From this point forward, all information will be communicated through our SportsYou app, not here on Facebook. Those who have turned in their forms should have received a text with the team access code this evening.

📣 Dates and times for cheer camp, practices, and games will all be in the app throughout the season, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve joined!

🔷 That’s a wrap on clinics! We’re so excited for tryouts Saturday morning! See below for all the details!

🌀 Tryouts start at 9:00am Saturday, April 25th. We’re starting with JV, so incoming 5-8th graders need to report at 8:45am. We’ll use this time to stretch and pin numbers to the girls’ shirts. Lots of the girls like to use this fellowship time to get some last minute practice in together too!

🌀 Judging from the amount of girls we have, we estimate that Varsity (incoming 9-12th graders) should arrive at 9:45am. Again, this time will be used to stretch, pin numbers, and probably get some last minute practice in.

‼️ Parents, please don’t go too far! The girls may leave after their individual tryout and DO NOT have to stay the whole morning. The girls drew numbers tonight if you’re interested in where your child is in the lineup.

💙 The first day of Clinics was a huge success! Don’t forget to come to at least 2/3 Clinics to qualify for tryouts this Saturday, April 25 9am - 1pm!

🌀Several of the girls had questions about how tryouts will go. We do require more of a dress code for tryouts (see below), and will have mock tryouts on Thursday to help get rid of some nervous jitters! Each girl is also free to go after her tryout rather than staying the entire time. We’ll draw numbers Saturday morning to see who goes in what order.

🌀 Everything the girls will be asked to do at tryouts was covered tonight and we’ll go over all of it again tomorrow. If anyone wants a copy of the words to our two new cheers, just send a private message!

📣 Clinics start tonight 4:30 - 6:30 at Warrior Gym!! You have to come to at least 2 clinic dates to qualify for tryouts this Saturday!

🌀 Please don’t forget to wear:
• a tshirt (no midriffs)
• comfortable shorts or leggings
• cheer shoes or tennis shoes (no converse or vans)
• have your hair secured away from your face (no claw clips)

🌀 You also may want to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. We can’t wait to see everyone tonight!

🌀 Don’t forget our interest meeting is in a few days on April 14th! Join us in the HCA cafeteria at 5:00 to meet the coaches and see what being an HCA cheerleader is all about!

🌀 This meeting is not a commitment to joining the JV or Varsity squad, but a moment for parents and athletes to get answers to frequently asked questions and see if they want to join us at Clinics and Tryouts in a couple weeks.

📣HCA CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS APRIL 22nd-26th!📣

Tryouts for the 2025-2026 Varsity & JV cheerleading squads (5th-12th grade) will take place April 22-26 in the HCA gymnasium.

Cheer clinics will be held:
✨Tuesday, April 22nd, 3:15-5:00
(Parent meeting following Day 1 clinic at 5:30)
✨Wednesday, April 23rd, 3:15-4:30
✨Thursday, April 24th, 5:00-7:00

Official cheer tryouts will take place the morning of✨Saturday, April 26th starting at 10:00 AM✨

All athletes interested in cheering for the 2025-2026 season must attend at least 2 of the 3 cheer clinics in order to qualify for tryouts. Athletes & at least one parent/guardian must attend the parent info meeting Tuesday, April 22nd at 5:30.
