Big congratulations to Lakeisha Jones, proud Lower Richland Girls Basketball alum, on her recent recognition at Western Electric Company for outstanding performance! 👏🏽🏀⚡
From her days on the court playing for the legendary Coach Debbie (Stroman) Wardlaw to now excelling in her professional career, Lakeisha continues to show what dedication, discipline, and heart truly look like. The same work ethic that made her stand out in a Lower Richland uniform is still opening doors and creating success today.
We love seeing our former athletes win in the game of life just as much as they did on the hardwood. Keep shining and representing, Lakeisha, we are proud of you! 💛🖤
For LaKeshia Jones, Westinghouse is more than a workplace. It’s family.
A proud Gadsden, SC native, LaKeshia followed in her father’s footsteps when she joined the team at the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility in Hopkins in 2021, continuing a family tradition that runs deep at CFFF.
LaKeshia came to Westinghouse looking for something new. A chance to try a different career path and grow in a new environment. What she found was a workplace that felt like home.
Today, LaKeshia serves as a Human Resources Associate, supporting employees and helping create the positive, people-first culture that makes Westinghouse special.
“I enjoy the family-like environment.”
One of LaKeshia’s proudest memories comes from her time working on the chemical side of the plant in the Pellet Area, where she learned more about Westinghouse’s processes and products while working alongside teammates to ensure customers received high-quality product, on time and ready to use.
Outside of work, LaKeshia enjoys singing, painting, spending time with family, and making memories with the people she loves most.
LaKeshia, thank you for bringing heart, dedication, and positivity to everything you do. We’re proud to have you—and your family—as part of the Westinghouse team.
