YEL Fencing Club YEL Fencing Club was formed to become a premier foil fencing program in the Midwest. Our motto is "Great fencers! Great people! YEL Fencing Club!"

Congratulations to ours 2026 Mens Foil State Championship fencers!!

Our fencers made up 4 of the top 8 finishers including 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

In particular shout out to our 2026 State Championship Jackson Toews who took the championship after an epic back and forth bout against teammate Asher Ruby.

Congratulations to our 2026 State Championship Women’s Foil Fencers!!

In particular shout out to the incredible Ada Salmi-Bydalek who, as an 8th grader (!!!) is your new 2026 State Champion!

Our program sent 7 women to the State tournament and they finished in places; 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7. That is an unbelievable finish, and testament to the strength, skills and talent of our athletes in addition to YELFCs success as a club!

Congratulations to our 2026 State Championship Women’s Foil Fencers!!

Special shout out in particular to our 2026 State Champion Ada Salmi-Bydalek!

We sent 7 fencers in Women’s Foil and they finished, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. That is an incredible testament to the strength of our athletes and their talents as individuals as well as our program’s unbelievable strength within our state.

Ratings and medals galore this weekend!!

Congratulations to Avery and Tae Difrank for their medals at the Escrime de Halloween this weekend and for Avery earning his E25 and Tae earning his C25 by winning the Y-14 event!

Closer to home we would like to congratulate Conor Feehan for winning the TCFC October Challenge and earning his D25 in the Senior Mixed Open. We would also like to congratulate Arthur and Jensen Li for getting 1st and 2nd in the Y12 foil in the same tournament!!
