Central Park construction is moving along! Starting Monday, July 20th, construction will start on the southerly portion of 15th Avenue S. (see map). This area of construction will be closed off from traffic during this phase of work. Access to the tennis court parking lot will remain open but will need to be accessed from the Mainstreet & 16th Avenue S. Updated 8/17/26: The northern half of the Pavilion parking lot remains inaccessible. All guests will need to enter the lot via Excelsior Blvd and park in the south half of the lot, in the "T" shaped space on the map. The additional green spots on the map are for overflow use and require a longer walk. Regardless of parking location, all guests should enter via the front doors as these are the only unlocked doors. We are expecting to regain access to the northern half of the parking lot sometime after Sept 9th. Please drive on the new paved area of the parking lot ONLY.

Steamy week here at the PAV, where screams of excitement and laughter from AKASPORT campers and staff are heard throughout the building. For the 6th year in a row, AKASPORT is back to host youth camps here every week on the Dry Floor of the arena.

Starting Monday, May 18th, construction will start on the Pavilion parking lots (see map). The area highlighted in red will be closed through June 14th. Parking will be accessible from the north side of the Pavilion. (Mainstreet & 15th Ave S.). The first picture shows the parking lot currently under construction. BE PREPARED: It's "Construction Season" in Minnesota and the Hopkins Pavilion will have its fair share of disruptions, primarily in terms of limited parking and accessibility. Construction on the south end of the parking lot is scheduled to begin May 18th (green). Once that is complete, they will move to the north end (teal). This will likely take us through the summer months. During this time, Central Park will be fenced off and inaccessible. We'll continue to update as needed.
