A little torrential downpour didn’t stop us yesterday! We jumped into the Tidal James Catfish Club tournament with family and friends, and the camera caught a rare sight: the captain actually on the business end of a big fish.

What a day on the James River! Had John and his three cousins out on the boat hunting down some heavyweights, and the river definitely delivered.
​The top fish of the trip went 65, 61, 51, and 48 lbs—putting some serious bends in the Catch The Fever rods and smiles on everyone's faces. Aside from the solid bite, it was nonstop laughs from start to finish with these fellas.
​Thanks for coming out, guys. Can’t wait to get y’all back out on the water this fall! 🎣

Quality family time and heavy drags on the river this morning!
​Mike and his sons joined us for a half-day trip and absolutely put on a clinic. The boys stayed busy reeling in quality fish all morning, but Mike took top honors of the day with a massive 51-pounder.
