Dear athletes,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my retirement. Over the past 20 years I have seen so many of you grow from quiet, shy children into confident, passionate adults. Whether it was helping you through a loose baby tooth, first heartbreak, high school drama, or college decision, it has always been about more than just cheer and gymnastics. Thank you for spending such a significant part of your precious childhoods with me. I might not be your coach anymore, but I will always be here for you. Please never hesitate to reach out. SAGA will not be reopening as usual this year since I am unable to establish safe training protocols for our athletes and coaches. Given the nature of the sport and my 18 years of experience, I know that following guidelines for cleaning and distancing are impossible for my business. If all goes well with schools and sports in our community, I may reevaluate my decision but for now I feel this is the right choice for your families as well as mine.
