The 7th Grade Lady Jets came up short in today’s championship game against Waldron, but what a season these girls put together. With a remarkable 17–3 record, they showed heart, growth, and grit every step of the way.

Championships are earned long before the final buzzer, and this group proved all season what teamwork and determination look like. So proud of everything they accomplished and the way they represented their school and community.

The 7th Grade Lady Jets opened the Mid‑Hoosier Conference with a 45–13 first‑round win over Edinburgh, improving to 16–2 behind dominant defense and balanced scoring. An early 8–0 burst set the tone, and the girls controlled the game wire to wire with energy, depth, and teamwork.

The 7th Grade Lady Jets showed tremendous heart on the road, battling to the end in a tough 28–24 loss to Waldron that moves them to 15–2. After a tight first quarter highlighted by early scoring from Raelyn Bachmann and Chandler Madden, Waldron built a double‑digit lead through the middle frames. But this group never backs down—they stormed back in the fourth behind clutch buckets from Ivey Boriss and a late scoring surge from Madden.

The 7th Grade Lady Jets outscored Waldron heavily in the final period and nearly completed an incredible comeback. Madden finished with a game‑high 10 points, Bachmann added 8 while staying aggressive all night, and Boriss delivered perfect efficiency to spark the rally. Even in defeat, the team’s resilience and fight were unmistakable.

After a close first quarter, the team took control with strong second‑quarter play and a dominant third‑quarter surge led by Chandler Madden, who scored 10 straight points to break the game open. The Jets’ balanced scoring and steady defense carried them the rest of the way, with multiple players stepping up in key moments to secure another convincing home victory.

The 7th Grade Lady Jets delivered their most resilient performance of the season, erasing a 12‑point deficit to defeat Jac‑Cen‑Del 33–31 on the road, improving to 13–1. After falling behind 12–0 and trailing 19–7 at halftime, the team responded with toughness, composure, and belief.

Chandler Madden sparked the early turnaround with key second‑quarter baskets, helping the Lady Jets finally break through offensively. The momentum shifted in the third as Ally Baxter poured in 5 points, including a perfectly timed three, while Raelyn Bachmann added important scores to trim the gap to 27–19 heading into the fourth.

The final quarter showcased the team’s heart. Emily Sipes erupted for 7 clutch points, drilling two massive threes and sinking the decisive free throw. Bachmann led all scorers with 11, battling through shooting struggles to deliver when it mattered most. Madden added 8 on efficient looks, and Baxter contributed 5 with strong accuracy. A dominant 14–4 fourth quarter sealed one of the season’s most memorable comebacks. 🏀
