Established in 2012, Smith Family Dojo is one of the fastest growing professional Karate and Self-Defense schools in Hope Mills, NC. Sensei Kevin H. Smith is a 7th Degree Black Belt (Nanadan) in Okinawa Kenpo Karate & Kobudo. He has been actively training for over 35 years and is a student of Hanshi Larry Isaac (10th Degree Black Belt, JuDan) of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Sensei Smith is also a

Lifetime Member of the Universal Martial Arts Association. Sensei Kevin Smith’s primary goal is to develop future Black Belts, who are fit, both mentally and physically. We've been busy this week at summer camp and it's only Tuesday!

Today we made a pit stop at the post office to mail out our pen pal letters we wrote yesterday to Hobbs Family Karate's summer camp students in South Carolina. It was a first visit to the post office for all of our campers. They are excited to get letters back from their new friends.

We finished our afternoon at the pool cooling off in this hot NC heat. It was a fun day for everyone.
