Our night was good, bad, and full of lessons—a glass half full or empty kind of night.
Noah continues to improve with each track time. He's getting better and recognizes areas he needs to work on. He qualified, raced a heat race, and the main event without major issues. His lap times improved, and he ran his fastest laps yet in his new ride. Seat time is key. He started 13th and finished 10th in the main event.
Camilla did well in qualifying and was excited for her race. However, things went awry when her division hit the track. The Jr. Sprint field struggled to stay lined up, and the flagman stopped all cars on the front straightaway. Camilla, being in the back, didn't realize they were stopping and rear-ended another car, causing significant damage. Luckily, the track promoter pulled the Jr.'s off and rescheduled them for the end of the night. Charles Wisler helped with repairs, and Camilla started her main event. Though she didn't race as strongly as her first race, she faced fears and got back out. I was proud she overcame her nerves.
It was a glass half full or empty night; I say half full. Thanks to our sponsors and thank you, Jesus, for eternal life. JTL Services LLC of Eastover NC
