Saturday, 6/6/26, back at the track.
It was a hot day with some hot racing! Heading into the race this weekend, I was a little nervous about the long break from racing, but my two drivers surprised me with great runs. Camilla hit the track ready to go, and it showed in her best race yet. She started at the back, but once she found her groove, it was on! She lit up the high side of the track and started moving forward, making passes and having the 4th overall fastest lap times! Noah kept it clean in his heat race and finished 3rd. In his main event, he was very consistent and ran his fastest laps yet this year. And he learned a valuable lesson about locking up his wheels. While trying to avoid another car spinning out, he locked up the wheels and slid way up the bank. At the end of the night, both my drivers had big smiles, looking forward to our next race! Thanks go out to our sponsors for helping to keep the wheels turning.

Friday night racing was a different vibe than our normal routine. Working all day and rushing straight from school, driving over an hour to the track was hectic to say the least. But we had fun doing it!

Camilla had a good run with the Jr Sprint and learned a lot. She got out of the car feeling good and excited for her next race. She finished 8th but was satisfied with the finish. She's eager to race again and see if she can improve on her finish. It was great seeing that spark of excitement in her eyes!

Noah also had a good run. It was the biggest field of cars he's raced against this year and the field was stacked! Again, Noah was consistent and his lap times improved, he avoided trouble on the track and ended the race officially scored in 7th out of 15 cars. After the race he was excited and said he felt good in the car and really thinks he's getting the feel of things. We still have a lot to learn but we're moving in the right direction.

We can't thank Bobby Gorman & his family, and James Locklear & his crew enough for all the support on and off track. The love is much appreciated! Thanks to our sponsors as well. Your help has made it possible to even be at the track.

Our night was good, bad, and full of lessons—a glass half full or empty kind of night.

Noah continues to improve with each track time. He's getting better and recognizes areas he needs to work on. He qualified, raced a heat race, and the main event without major issues. His lap times improved, and he ran his fastest laps yet in his new ride. Seat time is key. He started 13th and finished 10th in the main event.

Camilla did well in qualifying and was excited for her race. However, things went awry when her division hit the track. The Jr. Sprint field struggled to stay lined up, and the flagman stopped all cars on the front straightaway. Camilla, being in the back, didn't realize they were stopping and rear-ended another car, causing significant damage. Luckily, the track promoter pulled the Jr.'s off and rescheduled them for the end of the night. Charles Wisler helped with repairs, and Camilla started her main event. Though she didn't race as strongly as her first race, she faced fears and got back out. I was proud she overcame her nerves.

It was a glass half full or empty night; I say half full. Thanks to our sponsors and thank you, Jesus, for eternal life. JTL Services LLC of Eastover NC

March 28, 2026, Lake View Motor Speedway

Another great night of racing for Noah and the 57n Team. We started off slow with a 10th place run in qualifying. Noah started at the back but kept it clean the whole race and finished 4th. We weren't the fastest but he used his head and got some valuable seat time tonight. Staying clean, his lap times improved by about 3 seconds and he finished 4th at the end of the night. I'm super proud of how he's learning to drive a legend car. Big thanks to Brain Grady for taking the time to give him some coaching tonight. Noah says it really helped! And thank you sponsors for all your help! Most importantly, thank you God for keeping us all safe tonight.
