I have seen flush dogs trained in a lot of ways. Little Preacher here waits up with the pointers for his command to flush. I keep mine at heel until I’m ready. Some folks keep them kenneled on a wagon and call for them when it’s showtime. How do you hunt your flush dog? Is there a “right” way to do it?
Chris at Five Star Plantation has done a great job with these dogs and they were a joy to hunt behind.
