đź’™ Why I Y Wednesday đź’™
Meet Dylan, Amy, Deacon, Maggie, and Hannah!
We asked Amy what made her give Child Watch a try. Here’s what she told us:
“I decided to try Child Watch for the first time after spending 6 months trying to do bodyweight exercises in our living room in, over, and around three kids under the age of 3. Needless to say, I wasn’t getting in a very good workout most of the time. I wanted to be able to go to the gym where I had both space and equipment. For a long time, I assumed the extra time it would take to drive there, unload everyone, check them in, load them back up after, and get back home wouldn’t be worth it. I was so wrong!”
On that first drop-off:
“The first time I dropped them off, my 9 month old started crying, but the staff was confident and encouraging. When I came back after my workout, my daughter was all smiles and my 2 year old son was talking non-stop about how fun the giant block room was.”
We asked what helps her feel comfortable leaving her kids with us:
“The Child Watch staff is so fun and kind. We see the same staff most days, and they know my kids by name and my kids know them. They feel at home.”
For Amy’s family, the biggest difference has been the “routine and community during what could be an isolating season.”
