Little Splashes Update: New Beginnings

Little Splashes as a swim school may be closing its doors, but this account remains open as a reflection of the deep connection Saylor and I feel to the Columbia Gorge—our forever home. 🌿💙

As someone who values community, connection, and weaving us all together, I’ll be using this space to share updates on when I’ll be in and out teaching swim courses through , as well as promoting local events, family-related happenings, and kid-focused activities that keep us all connected.

This community has held us for so many years, and it’s my honor to continue to be part of it in this new way. So, welcome to this refreshed space—let’s keep our Columbia Gorge family growing and thriving!

Registration is now open. Privates are FULL but I have 16 spots for ages 2.5-4 semi-privates. We start October 8-17 , 6 lessons. I’m doing three days in a row for two weeks to help build the muscle memory in this younger age group. This is my last session of the year. I am are now running under Held In Water. 🙏

We’re using a new system, so please be patient as we navigate it together. 🙏 This will be a two-week swim session where your little ones will join me Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.

⏳ This is the final session until next summer, so don’t miss out! This class is perfect for brand-new swimmers or those on the verge of swimming. Designed for kiddos ages 2- 4, semi- private only!

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be offering a special two-week course in October through Held In Water for beginner swimmers in my warm and cozy therapy pool!

Here’s what you need to know:

• Semi-Private Lessons: For ages 2-4, 20-minute sessions with two students. The cost is $215 for six sessions.
• Private Lessons: For ages 2 months to 15 months. These are 15-minute sessions (perfect for little ones’ attention span and comfort). The cost is $250 for six sessions.
• The pool is heated and covered, and we’ll have extra heaters if needed, ensuring a cozy environment for your little ones.
• I need 25 kids to make this happen due to the cost of heating the pool.
• this will be my last sessions in 2024 before I leave for the winter.

I can’t wait to share these special lessons with your little swimmers! The registration link will be available next week, so stay tuned!

I’m looking for someone to share a 20 ft brand new storage container, available starting October 1st in Hood River. The cost is $125 per month.

Details:

Cost: $125 per month ( two months up front)
Container Size: 20 ft, brand new we split it in half
Access: You'll have your own set of locks for secure access.
Insurance: I recommend getting your own insurance if you're storing valuables.
Commitment: Minimum of 6 months, or pay for a year upfront and get 1 month free!
