6 months ago, we embarked on a journey to uplift the figures in our ski and splitboard community who have galvanized us most.

Whose passion for wild adventures is as inspiring as the breathtaking philosophies that shape them.

On February 23rd, we finished the first installment of Parts, which followed the story and ideologies of Stratton Matteson. A day later, we learned of his tragic passing in an avalanche in Joffre Lakes near Pemberton, B.C.

We share this now because we feel his message remains a pillar of inspiration to us and this community.

Today, Stratton Matteson would have turned 29 years old.

We miss buddy. Truly an honor to know you. Thanks for sharing your light with the world.
